Interview for Forbes

We posted here that Gomez gave an interview with FORBES '! Now we have more a part of this interview. Check out:
What it means to be a UNICEF ambassador?
They basically use my voice and my platform to educate children. I'm willing to make the trip with them. Also available to learn more about UNICEF. The next step is to zero the number of 22 000 children die every day because of diseases that could be avoided. That was the reason for having been one of the first part of the "Tap Project" this year.

His philanthropy has helped to educate you more about what happens in the world?
Yes and no, the best thing to be part of something like this is knowing that I do not have to grow. I made videos on YouTube and talk to my fans about it. It's as if I had an acoustic concert for UNICEF. A while ago my fans asked me things about UNICEF and I say: Look, I do not know much about these things, I want to learn, and that's why I'm encouraging everyone to participate as well.I'll be honest, when I was in Ghana, I had no idea what I would do, or what would be, I had no idea anything. My fans asked me what was on Twitter Ghana, or wherever it was, and I said: You can search in google or do something. So it's nice because I'm 35 years old and I do not know a lot of stuff that happens in the world. I'm willing to grow with my fans and with UNICEF.Knowing that they trust me, I really want to learn and know what is happening.

These are things you have in mind when you make your decisions and business professionals?
I feel like my life many times is extremely superficial. I love what I do, and at times it can be very selfish and vain. What I mean is that I spend two hours to do hair and makeup to walk the red carpet and things like that. I feel very happy to be linked to UNICEF. With my clothing line have done something for Trick or Treat. We made a shirt for UNICEF, we sell these shirts and all the money went to UNICEF. It's fun being acquired UNICEF in what I do.

What do you expect your fans do, through your efforts? I hope they feel good about doing good things. And that is best for everyone. Not only for people from other countries who do not know and who are less fortunate than us, but for everyone, a neighbor, someone in the street, someone at the school.
