Get ready, people; soon you’ll be hearing Selena Gomez en español.
The 18-year-old Wizards of Waverly Place star and A Year Without Rain singer took to her Twitter account on Tuesday to announce that she’s working on a Spanish-language album, enthusing,
“Can’t wait for y’all to hear the Spanish record it’s sounding so cool.” Gomez then tweeted, somewhat cryptically,
“Dime, dime, dime, no hay imposibles ” The phrase translates to English as, “Tell me, tell me, tell me, nothing is impossible.” New lyrics, perhaps?
Gomez told talk-show host George Lopez late last year that she hoped to issue a Spanish-language album sometime in the future. (In the past, she’s admitted that she needed more practice with the language before undertaking such an endeavor.) Shortly after making the revelation, Gomez released a Spanish version of her hit single “A Year Without Rain.”
