After all the controversy surrounding Britney Spears and how she does not write any of the hit songs on the U.S. version of Femme Fatale, she did however write a song for another female pop star - Selena Gomez!
MTV News has confirmed that Spears wrote a song for the upcoming album by Selena, in June. A representative of Gomez could not confirm the title song, but Ace Showbiz reports that they know the title: Whiplash.
Britney could not have written the songs in the U.S. version of Femme Fatale, she wrote more than a dozen songs by five of its seven albums during her musical career. She also wrote a song called "Scary" for the Japanese version of Femme Fatale. Too bad the song is not about the U.S. version! Gomez has been very open about his admiration for the singer and told MTV News that plans to include a tribute to Britney Spears in her summer tour! "We are working on some covers. We are working on a tribute to Britney, I'm so happy for that because I love Britney. We'll do a little tribute. ... Let's make her hits Baby One More Time, and others that I can not comment! "
