The list of Billboard that measures the popularity of music artists, the Social Billboard's 50 , revealed this week a new name at the top, it was not Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga , but the singer Selena Gomez .
Selena knocked her boyfriend, Justin Bieber first place it occupied last month (see here ) and now she is in first place as the most popular artist in social media, leaving Justin in second place. One reason for the overwhelming increase of Selena, is the release of his album "When the Sun Goes Down" .
The Billboard's Social 50 Chart is a list of artists most active in leading global social networking sites - YouTube, Vevo, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and iLike - using as basis the weekly growth of friends / fans / followers, along with weekly visits page of the artist and how the songs are played the same week.
